I am currently reading The Street Lawyer. So far I love it. I'm almost done with it. I have also read The Painted House, The Rainmaker and part of A Time To Kill. Going to read The Chamber next. Anyone else like his books?

I liked a time to kill, the rain maker, the summons, and the client. I didn't like the last jurror very much. It was okay, but it was not quite as well written as the rest of his books. This is just my opinion of course. I have never read the painted house, is it worth the read?

I read The Partner last year for summer reading. I thought it was very suspenseful and kept on surprising me. Haven't read any of his other books, but maybe i will.

I read the rain maker a long time ago. I think thats the one where a woman and her lawyer sue an insurance company, because they claimed to carry full coverage for the ensured, but when her son got lukemia, and needed a bone marrow transplant, the company wouldn't pay for it, and the son died. Thats the only one i read, but it was pretty good.

I've read The Client, The Firm, The Chamber, A Time to Kill, and Pelican Brief. The books were better than the movies.

Post 9 by CrazyMusician (If I don't post to your topic, it's cuz I don't give a rip about it!) on Thursday, 24-Nov-2005 10:23:36

WOW this topic's old. LOL
I've read all of his books at least once. The only one I really didn't like was "The King of Torts". Don't ask why; it makes no sense. LOL But to be honest, I've preferred Grisham's earlier works (the Street Lawyer and earlier); his later works seem to sell solely base on the fact that Grisham wrote it, which sucks, because then an author doesn't have to write good books to sell books.
